Taj Mahal is best enjoyed on a full moon night

The Taj Mahal is only available for night viewing on full moon nights, five days a month. He can only enter 50 people at a time and the slot is limited to his 30 minutes. How to Book a Night Visit to the Taj Mahal

There was a time when the gates of the Taj Mahal would stay open even after dark, so you could stay all night. However, night vision he was banned in 1984 and resumed in 2004. Tickets to night viewing of the Taj cannot be booked online (yet). This means that you`ll have to head to the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) office (22, Mall Road, Agra) in person to get a slot. Tickets become available a day before the date of the viewing and can be bought between 9am and 5pm. While Indians need to carry a copy of their ID and address proof, foreign visitors need to present a copy of their passport.
