Kolkata
Escape to a new world of never-seen-before architecture, lively marketplaces, gastronomy, and interact with local residents during this two-day tour. Day 03
Kolkata- Bagdogra – Darjeeling ( Flight: 6E-797/70.4km)
After a brief flight and road trip, arrive at Darjeeling foothills to experience the majestic Glenburn Tea Estate. Have a good look at the valley whilst the journey from the airport to the estate as a scenic-spot picnic is organized. After that, get ready to travel back in time as you arrive at our colonial-style bungalows. Have a relaxing evening amongst drinks by the bonfire, four-course dinner, and interaction with co-guests and hosts.
Day 04
Darjeeling
Rediscover the art of growing and crafting Glenburn Tea with a visit to a sixteen-hundred-acre private estate. As you pass through the tea fields, talk to the tea pickers as they tell you the journey of “two leaves and bud.” Have a detailed look at the tea factory and taste different varieties of flavors and aromas. Before moving to the afternoon hike or some serene time in our peaceful verandahs, enjoy a luxurious lunch at the Bungalow.
Day 05
Darjeeling
Explore the town of Darjeeling the whole day, starting with the famous “toy train” ride. Following that, arrive at the renowned Ghoom Monastery, the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, along with an exploratory walk down the mall and chow-raasta.
Day 06
Darjeeling – Bagdogra- Dibrugarh (AI-722-15.40 hrs)
If you like children, we have great news for you! Get to visit our local primary school to talk your heart out with the children during the morning assembly. Then enjoy a hike down to our Glenburn Campsite, followed by a barbeque lunch alongside the exquisite Rangeet River. Take a drive to Bagdogra airport and move to a luxurious heritage bungalow located nearby in the green Mancotta Tea Estate owned by the Jalan group. Stay in the heritage spirit with an overnight in the bungalow.
Day 07

Loosen up your spirits and enjoy a free day to explore the plantations. Have a refreshing evening tea to further venture upon the bustling market area. Stay the night in the bungalow.
Day 08

The best time to explore the beauty of aromatic tea gardens is undoubtedly early morning time. Inhale these aromas as you walk through the garden. A guided tour to the tea factory waits after a delightful breakfast. There, learn about various processes involved in tea production in detail. Spend an afternoon in the leisure valley amongst the greenery and experience a therapeutic peace. If you want, give a prior intimation to enjoy a horse riding session in the countryside. Along with that, experience the luxurious rich life of the plantation owners by visiting their clubhouses. Enjoy an exquisite sunset in a boat ride organized in the beautiful Brahmaputra River. Spend the evening traveling across the dynamic marketplaces, restaurants, and other places around the town.
Day 09
Mancotta T.E - Sivasagar - Gatoonga T.E
Leave for Gatoonga Tea Estate (four hours from Jorhat) after a delicious breakfast and arrive at your stay at yet another luxury bungalow. While going further to Sivasagar, you will witness the culturally rich architectural remains of medieval temples built by the Ahom Dynasty of Assam. Spend the rest of the day living the green life amongst the plantation.
Day 10
Gatoonga T.E
Start your morning by visiting the Adivasi women who pluck tea leaves and observe their work while trying to practice and learn this activity. Further, after having a healthy breakfast, leave for a factory visit nearby the plantation followed by a tea tasting session of different varieties and grades. The next stop will be the Tea Research Association at Tocklai to look into experiments and research done on tea and its plantation. Here, interact with the involved scientists and professionals who have aced their domain. After lunch, take a break from the modern world and visit some nearby villages in order to get a view of the simplistic lives of the rural Indian side. After an evening at leisure, you are free to visit the classically set clubhouse for dinner.
Day 11
Gatoonga T.E - Majuli - Gatoonga T.E
After a two-hour ride to Majuli, the largest inhabited island in the world, have a day full of various fun activities. As you explore the hotbed of Assamese monastic culture, get a ferry ride across the serene Brahmaputra River. Visit the monasteries of the island while meeting monks who live a peaceful life. Learn about dynamic art forms, drama, music, and philosophy. Discover your creative side as you arrive at the tribal villages and a mask-making center. For a change, lunch will be organized in a village house wherein you will experience the taste of indigenous flavors amongst the warmth of a village family. Depart for the bungalow by dusk for the evening and overnight stay.
Day 12
Gatoonga T.E – Kaziranga National Park
A day trip to Gibbon Wildlife Sanctuary awaits you. The trip will be to the heart of the jungle, ruled by snakes, birds, butterflies, amongst other animals. Following it is a three-hour drive to Kaziranga National Park, known for its one-horned rhinoceros. Explore the surrounding villages and stay at a luxurious resort overnight.
Day 13

What’s a better way to start your morning than exploring the Central-Western zone of Kaziranga National Park? Exploring it on the back of an elephant! The park is full of different animals from Wild Water Buffaloes to over a thousand wild elephants and Royal Bengal Tigers. If you are a bird watcher, this place is a treasure for you! With over five-hundred species like Crested Serpent Eagle, Swamp Partridge, Bar-headed goose, Whistling Teal, Floricans, Storks, Pelicans, and so on, this place blooms with its birds. Return to the resort for breakfast to follow to Central Zone of the Park through an afternoon safari. Have an exclusive stay in Karizanga for a night.
Day 14
Kaziranga National Park – Adabarie T.E (02 ½ hrs)
Another jeep safari starts your morning in Kaziranga National Park. Have a delicious lunch and visit Adabarie Tea Estate for another luxurious stay in a boutique owned by the biggest tea company in the world, Williamson Magor Group. Cross the Brahmaputra drained Himalayan north-bank. Following is a free evening where you will experience a free zone in the plantation site around the stay. Learn new things like cooking local vegetables and dishes along with certain crafts if you like.
Day 15
Adabarie T.E
Leave for a tea tasting session after breakfast and a guided factory visit. Learn about the famous Assam tea from experts. After lunch, you will be taken to a special tea time elephant trek, providing you an opportunity to get to know the animal. Stroll around the plantation, or a cycle tour concludes the leisure evening.
Day 16
Adabarie T.E – Guwahati (05 hrs)
The City of Guwahati awaits. After breakfast, leave for Guwahati whilst sightseeing Tezpur in a comfortable ride. Hotel check-in and overnight stay at the hotel specially prepared for you to rest.
Day 17
Guwahati – Kolkata ( Flight- AI-775 19.20hrs)
At last, visit the world’s second-largest center of tea - Tea Auction Centre at Guwahati, considering it is open. Gather knowledge on the functioning of the tea market from trained experts in this industry. Next stop, the Guwahati Kalakshetra, is an exquisite initiative by the government aimed at showcasing the tribal arts and crafts from Northeast India.
